Research And Implementation Of Business Rule Management System

In recent decades, owing to the complexity of current enterprise system and the changing business decision in response to market demand, there must have a good method to modify and configure business rules in traditional information system efficiently, which make the business rules management technology become a current research focus. This thesis has had a deep research on the existing principle and critical technologies of business rules management and implemented a rule management system prototype that can be applied to the enterprise system of our country, which can provides technology support for further studying to business rule management technology in our country.This paper presents a business rule management system based on rule engine kernel implemented with C++. The system connects the rule engine kernel with rule development component and rule base, and can be adequate for operating environment of our country's IT system on the basis of the designed rule base model. Firstly the overall architecture and operational process of BRMS is shown, and every component of the system is introduced. Then we focus on the operational mechanism of rule engine kernel and present a rule base module which can meet content repository specification to fully support system core functions. In order to achieve the adaptation of our country's system environment, we analyzed the interactive process between functional modules in system and proposed a solution to the problem that how the heterogeneous rule engine kernel can be embedded into BRMS. Finally a business rule management system is implemented according to designed technical architecture, incorporating the preceding studies and having good validation results in actual operation.
