Along with the rapid development of the computer technology, the embedded monitoring system is widely used in the intelligent monitoring field in our modern world and its importance is more and more obvious. Considering the diversity of monitored subjects, there is no such monitor platform which is efficient. The general monitoring platform is not strong enough that it becomes the obstacle in the development ofembedded monitoring system. The traditional designs redesign hardware platform andprofessional software in view of the different monitoring objects, leading to long design cycle, the high error rate and increased costs. Besides, the tailored monitoring platform will become the short board of system expansion.In the whole design , a on-site embedded system is used to diagnosis and allocate the equipment parameters and defaults. At the same time, the corresponding statements, the performance appraisal of persons and a comprehensive range of solutions can be supplied in a more advanced management center. Especially according to the large monitoring network, like telecom operators and subway operators, who collect anddeal with data on scene, distributed processing and the active warning mechanism are used on scene to make the monitoring center processing more easier and reduce thenetwork of the heavy burden.This issue has manly designed core motherboard circuit, expensed data acquisition circuit and removed excess functions in using experimental development board anduses a modular design combined with a flexible motherboard and expanded plate. The main board mainly includes: control core S3C2410 module, CPLD module, memory module, debugging interface module and human-computer interaction modules and network communication module. And the author reserves many kinds of connections to strengthen the extendibility. Expanded plate is agency of data acquisition and serial interface communication control, which includes 11 AI plate,8 DO,16 DI,and RS232,RS485,USB interface. After expansion, the whole monitoring platform can have anincomparable advantage in monitoring quantity.
