The students'absenteeism not only affects the teaching quality of colleges, and also is disadvantageous to the school safety management. How to use modern technology to realize the student localization in school and standardize the students'attendance management ? Students attendance has the particularity like these. The class break is short and students'number is large ,so the access control system is not suitable. Normal attendance strategy cannot solve successfully avoid helping others attending. Due to the great number and huge database, face recognition and other biological recognition technology are not efficient.This research is a effectively design scheme for students attendance. The scheme ,using no access control ,can realize students access needn't to punch card . Thus there won't be the phenomenon of queuing to wait to punch card. It will not only affect the normal teaching order, and also be helpful to strengthen college teaching management, which have great significance and has wide application prospects. Students localization and attendance system is composed of two parts,identification acquisition terminal and PC server software. This paper mainly studies and introduces the design of identification acquisition terminal.915M long-distance RFID card is used as the electronic tag, which has the identification distance of 1~3m. Acquisition terminal is mainly composed of RFID reader, image acquisition unit, information processing unit and communications unit. Such acquisition terminal is installed on every door of classroom. The RFID reader can read every electronic tag on the access student. The camera is set top of the door filming vertical downward. By this way, there is no shading of people and identification is accurate. The number of RFID reader compare with the image process result to judge that whether there is more than one card on the student or not. Considering the student group's particularity of a large number, do not set up any entrance guard, there is no access controller and students can go in-out optionally to achieve attendance registration. Each terminal communicate with upper computer through the way of RS-422.Through theoretical analysis and experiments , it is proved that the scheme of combining the RFID and image processing can effectively avoid the phenomenon with several cards on one body or no card etc.. And also it can accurate positioning students on campus in which classroom and make the statistics of student attendance...
