USB (Universal Serial Bus) is nominated jointly by the Intel, DEC, Microsoft and IBM Company, etc, and widely applied to interface technology in the PC field gradually. USB interface has many advantages such as high universality, real-time transmission diversity, strong, low cost, to support plug and play, easy to expand and easy to use. These advantages make USB obtain many hardware vendors' favor. At present, there are various types of USB products in the market, and these products are widely used in PC and Embedded system.With the USB standard getting sound and mature, USB peripherals species is unceasingly rich, and the application fields also expands unceasingly. In the traditional applications,PC plays host role mainly. According to the USB norm, we can see the topology structure of USB is the core of is host,the data transmission must be made and control by host at each time. With the embedded application growing, the application scope of USB peripherals has been magnified. Therefore, to achieve USB peripherals control becomes increasingly urgent in embedded systems.Recent years,foreign advanced technology gradually applys to Military training in China, simulated training becomes our army training development trend, but both in the equipment and technology side, we still have a large gap compared with foreign troops. A few years ago, most of the simulated training equipment is idle due to simulated training equipment could not be applied to troops.Such training can not make ideal effect,and the expenditure is wasted. The equipments produced specifically for military simulation training, lack of USB embedded data acquisition system, resulting in data transmission problems between equipment and storage devices used by the forces. This topic studys for maintenance simulated training equipment lack of embedded USB data acquisition system.System applies to the troops maintenance simulated training equipment those embedded USB data acquisition system, were designed and developmented on SL811 HS-Based.Thesis mainly divided into the design and realization of host hardware and software. The first part of the paper describes the main technical USB, including host protocol, data communication structure, etc. The second part of the paper is the design and implementation on host hardware of system, mainly including the data acquisition module, control function module on SL811HS-Based etc.And make the simple introduction about the hardware knowledge corresponding to application. The third part of the paper is the design planning and implementation of software, mainly includes operating systems, various application protocols, realize SL811HS communication function and the system software design of USB. At last, the overall situation of thesis is summarized.The study on this topic make the troops maintenance of simulated training equipment and the training integrate effectively, the real-time data of troops can be keyed into maintenance simulation training system. It is important for advancing forces simulated training existence significance. To improve on this result can be applied to civilian aspects.
