| With the rapid development of computer technology and educational informatization, virtual experiments have been widely used in teaching. They provide a large number of opportunities to operate for every student, which improve their practical abilities. Teaching quality assessment of virtual experiments, would assess the quality of virtual experimental teaching and instruct teachers in teaching methods. It is the most important method to promote the development of virtual experiment and an important part of teaching process.This paper takes virtual experiment system of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications as the reference, exploring theories of virtual experimental teaching evaluation. A complete set of virtual experimental teaching quality evaluation indicator system and compute methods for each indicator are constructed. On this basis, we designed evaluation system for virtual experimental teaching. Assess the teaching quality of virtual experiments, student-centered, from some aspects, such as knowledge and skills, processes and methods, emotions and attitudes. The results can be used as the basis of reforming virtual experimental teaching system.According to the current domestic actual requirement for network virtual experimental teaching evaluation, traditional ideas of teaching quality assessment and the characteristics of virtual experimental teaching, pilot study virtual experimental teaching theories. Analysis the evaluation models and evaluation methods that are commonly used in teaching evaluation, including their advantages, disadvantages and applications, decided to use the evaluation model which combines the benefits of formative and summative assessment model. Integrated application of various methods provides a theoretical basis for assessment system.Reference to traditional experimental teaching evaluation, take experimental priorities as the main line. Divide the whole process into three parts, before, in and after the experiment. Design a set of virtual experimental teaching quality evaluation indicator system, including 5 first-level indicators,14 second-level indicators and 25 third-level indicators. Then, introduce the detailed design ideas and process. The result can be achieved through weighting 5 first-level indicators. This paper presents analytic hierarchy process method to compute weights.Assessment system could assess teaching process, study process and teaching quality regularly. SSH and JSP technique are used to complete the virtual experimental teaching evaluation system which can run in different platforms. This system can automatically collect data from virtual experiments, including front-assisted learning, experiment process guiding, real-time and non real-time question, experimental results and other relevant data. Then collect feedback information through questionnaires. Finally analyzing obtained data, use JFreeChart technique to generate pie chart or bar chart, which makes the result more intuitionistic.Major innovations include:(1)Construct a set of complete evaluation indicator system for virtual experimental teaching quality.According to traditional experimental teaching evaluation, virtual experiment system of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, took experimental priorities as the main line, constructs a set of complete evaluation indicator system for virtual experimental teaching quality, including 5 first-level indicators,14 second-level indicators and 25 third-level indicators.(2) Proposed the method to compute weight in evaluation indicator system. Analytic hierarchy process is used to get weights, containing 5 steps:establishing hierarchy, creating a judgment matrix, computing judgment matrix, verifying consistency, determining weights.(3) Implement virtual experimental teaching evaluation system that shows results in figure way.The system assesses the teaching quality of virtual experiments, student-centered, from some aspects, such as knowledge and skills, processes and methods, emotions and attitudes. SSH and JSP technique are used to complete the virtual experimental teaching evaluation system. And the system can automatically collect and analyze related data, and use JFreeChart technique to show assess results.In summary, this article pilot study theories of virtual experimental teaching evaluation. A complete set of virtual experimental teaching quality evaluation indicator system has been constructed. On this basis, we designed evaluation system for virtual experimental teaching, had some value to the standardization of virtual experimental teaching evaluation. |
