Smart grid is an important part of the energy development strategy. There are different definitions of smart grid during different countries, strong and smart grid which includes six sectors of power generation, transmission, substation, distribution, consumption and scheduling, is defined in our country. The sector of power consumption is closely related with people's daily lives. In this sector, intelligent use of electricity community is the focus. Thus, it is an important part of the development of smart grid. There are two aspects that systems and networks included in the intelligent use of electricity community. At present, many enterprises and research institutions have carried out the research and practice on system, but lack of doing any research on network. This will compensate for the shortcoming, it will make some contribution for intelligent use of electricity community, ever for smart grid.According to the application of wireless ad hoc networks in intelligent use of electricity community, the research on network topology and design on network scheme have been made on this paper, moreover the design on this routing protocol which is running on the network is proposed. Some schemes which make network nodes achieve every business are proposed according to the characters of community buildings'distribution. The routing protocol design is to learn the traditional protocol's main structure of wireless ad hoc network, the simple hierarchical mechanisms and method of routing path selection are proposed by the characters of community network. The research and scheme design for wireless ad hoc network in intelligent use of electricity community by the perspective of macro and micro on this paper, on the premise of many research institutions and power grid enterprises paying more attention to the system design, the work which is done on this paper will make more comprehensive and improvement for the intelligent use of electricity community.
