| The detection of steel strip has been proved more than potential in industrial application. Consequently, it has been explored worldwide, however, relative domestic research is contrastively rare, which makes it rather desirable. Based on the edge detection of steel strip's vibration, this paper presents a design of contactless-type wireless DAS(data acquisition system), employing FPGA, USB and linear CCD, in order to be applied to such detection.First of all, this paper systematically analyzes the basic operating principle, characteristic and application of linear CCD. Then according to specific demands of DAS, the whole system is devided into CCD driver module, acquisition module data buffer module, ARM platform and display module. Furthermore, the key problem concerning the application of CCD, that is the realization of its driving timing sequence circuit, is discussed. Specificly, the design of driver circuit is described in VHDL, and simulated under Quarusâ…¡platform of Altera Co.. Finally, simulations and field testing results attest to the feasibility of the presented system.Along with relative software needs, the host computer testing program is also completed. |
