This paper is going to talk about analysis and research of communication performance with regard to wireless routing protocol on both theoretical model of mobile wireless nodes of Ad_hoc network and actual path model of intelligent transport system. With the development of wireless network technology, more and more people start to focus on the key technology of wireless network-Ad_hoc.With the development of Telecommunications and Computer Technology, The Intelligent Transport System, as a practical technology, has gained more attention in recent years. The basic idea of Intelligent Transport System is to achieve intelligent and information transport management using modern telecommunication and computer technologies. Ad_hoc network technology is a very important branch in the field of wireless telecommunication technology which is mainly used in dynamic networks of the changing location of wireless nodes.Both research on new theoretical model of mobile wireless node and routing protocol performance on network layer are popular fields in terms of Ad_hoc technology. Research on these two fields will promote each other in which way we could use different models of wireless mobile node to analyze telecommunication performance of different routing protocols.The traffic management system and study on these two aspects are very similar.On one hand, this paper analyzes telecommunication performance of three classic wireless routing protocols on theoretical model of mobile wireless node; on the other hand, it tries to build an Intelligent Transport System communication model based on the Ad-hoc Network. This model simulates an on-road wireless network constitute of vehicles. In such scenarios, network nodes represent different vehicles. Each node drives restrictedly. This paper simulates mobile model of nodes in the scenarios by using a variety of simulation tools and programming languages,It uses network nodes to represent the vehicles on road and do some feasibility analysis. The paper also uses different Ad-hoc Network protocols to simulate on this communication model, and analyses their performances at different applications, focusing on performance indicators under different telecommunication models on corresponding to routing protocols on network layer. It also analyses these performance indicators and initially selects a better routing protocol which could be used in The Intelligent Transport System.This paper collects related information on Ad_hoc network and The Intelligent Transport System, initially establishes five representative road models according to the characteristics of a variety of simulation tools, researches AODV,DSR,DSDV the three routing protocols which are used in the five models above and has a quantitative performance results. It proves AODV is a better suitable protocol for these five restricted models through data analysis. Finally it proposes the limitations of this paper and does a forecast for the future development.
