Long Term Evolution is a new mainstream mobile tele-communication standard, which uses OFDM and MIMO as its main technical features and supports wider system bandwidth and more rapid data speed, after the 3rd generation of mobile telecommunication system. LTE is classified into TDD and FDD by its duplex mode. As the following evolution of TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE has special value to study deeply in china.After careful study of TD-LTE, the following works have been done by using LTE system level simulation platform.1. Finished the evaluation of TD-LTE uplink system and introduced the High-order Sectorization into itProfound and detailed evaluation in the TD-LTE Uplink System has been done under different assumptions such as receive antennas, UL/DL time slots, scale of cells, system bandwidth and frequency carrier. HoS has also been researched in this system.2. Proposed an improved scheduling algorithm to enhance the effect of beam forming in TD-LTE from the point of sounding reference signalBecause the implement limitation make equipments could only use narrow sounding, lost of throughput may be probable caused in downlink beam forming of TD-LTE. So the improved algorithm has been proposed which adds the information of delay of narrow sounding reference signal into the metric of frequency domain scheduling. After simulation of implementing the improved algorithm, gain has been found in downlink beam forming.
