Research And Implementation Of Fast-development Model Based On Colon Cancer Medical Record System

Purpose:The management information system (MIS) of colon cancer medical record is an important way to collect and manage the medical data and it's also a preliminary tool for data mining. Currently, such MIS is developed following a software life cycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation, test and maintenance. And user interface (UI) design still takes much time to implement and thus influences the whole developing efficiency. Due to complexity, variability and other characteristics of colon cancer medical record, less process in UI design is required and therefore, a fast-develop model is researched and designed in this paper which is able to automatically generate the UI and implement the MIS of colon cancer medical record.Method:In view of the analysis and comparison with of popular automatic interface generation technologies, this paper indicates the application limitations in medical record system of colorectal cancer. And a new automatic interface generation design pattern based on the theory of information management is thus presented. This design pattern realize automatic interface generation control which is bound with data fields in database, also realize the basic functions such as adding, deleting, checking and altering and so on. To achieve these functions, three steps have to be processed:automatically generating controllers based on the table structure in database; generating database operation statements; executing the database operation based on a specified table name.Result:After detailed requirement analysis and system design, and in order to implement this model and apply it for colon cancer system, Visual Studio 2008 and C#.NET are utilized as the development environment and tools, Microsoft Access 2003 is used as the database to store the medical data based on Client/Server (C/S) model. The system consists of several data operation functions required and achieve the research object successfully.Conclusion:A comparison is made between the traditional development model and the fast-develop model in the design of UI, code capability and transportability. And a conclusion is eventually made that the fast-development has a remarkable advantage in implement the same functions with simpler UI and less codes, and is capable to transfer to other applications.
