With the rapid development of the computer technology, the network communicatI/On technology, the storage technology and the comprehensive monitoring technology, the applicatI/On of large-scale remote video image storage has become one of the hot topics in the system of comprehensive security the area of a rail transportatI/On.How to seamlessly connect storage technology with the existing environment to achieve the purpose of a smooth upgrading and updating, at the same time, maximizing the economic benefits safely, reliably and efficiently so as to meet the Growing demand of market, continue to advance the development of network storage technology, and try to bridge the huge gap of the storage technology, the computing technology, and the transmissI/On technology.For these conspicuous issues above, the papers based on the Project test equipment in The Computer Science Laboratory of Anhui University of technology and the key Laboratory of Intelligent Engineering in sunwin CorporatI/On in Shen Zhen, , and combining with the projects of actual large-scale subway integrated security system, mainly study the applicatI/On the IP SAN network storage technology in the rail transportatI/On video surveillance system and the other related knowledge of it.The article includes overall design of the rail transportatI/On video monitoring system and the plan study of functI/On of the storage system . The overall design of the rail transportatI/On video monitoring system includes the three mostdesigns ,such as ,the design of network subsystem, the design of integrated management subsystem and the the design of rail transportatI/On video surveillance system.the network subsystem to provide transmissI/On support for the entire rail network video surveillance system; integrated management subsystem manage and control the entire monitoring system in every respect .The entire IP SAN network storage system is divided into two parts, one is the local-statI/On storage system, another is the control -center storage system, the control center can achieve the storage and retrieval of varI/Ous statI/Ons'video of the whole line with the help of the IP network, and also can control all surveillance cameras of the whole line. By managing the storage space resource to improve space usage factor of storage device , and to reduce the appearance of informatI/On island ;By taking the means of the disaster recovery and researching the index of storage performance to further improve the overall system stability and reliability. The actual testing of the system performance and the preliminary applicatI/On results has proved that the storage scheme that we studied has the character of hard real-time property,high efficiency and cross platform and so on.
