Variable taper of special tube is widely used in many fields such as energy, spaceflight and national defence etc. High precision measurement of the static parameters is a prerequisite and important technique process in designing, studying and use of the variable taper of special tube. Based on thorough study of the principle, method about the active information acquisition technique of variable taper tube and limitation of the detecting equipments, a measuring equipment to the tube static parameters measurement system with high precision and automatism is designed and accomplished. The technique in information acquisition and communication control is studied deeply to the point of the problem about accessing to information and controlling in the system which is used to measure the static parameters of the variable taper tube. As a result, a series of suitable technologies have been put forward. The practicability and effectiveness have been verified by practice.Firstly in allusion to the lowering and complex environment in the variable taper tube a kind of distributed-LED scene illumination light source is designed which affords the necessary condition for the parameters information acquisition in lumen. The practice shows that the designing can ensure obtain high quality image in the variable taper tube. Then a digital display method based on capacitive grate transducer is designed to measure the depth parameter We use four scales that are in quartered to access reticules. At the same time we make a plan to demarcate the precision of the information access as a result, the feasibility have been verified.Secondly full consideration to the system working conditions, a step motor control circuit based on SCM is designed and the suitable communications protocol to this system is made, which realize the serial communication between the PC and the SCM. And we make the measuring equipment localize accurately with the method of adaptively controlling the step length which has been proved to be right.Lastly error sources affecting measurement accuracy in the variable taper tube static parameters measurement system have been analyzed and the detecting results also have been summarized, which affords an upswing way for next research work.
