| With the rapid development of information technology, the size of the enterprises'production-related data expands on a variety of scale of rapid growth, if we don't collect and process these data timely, the entire business operation should be destroyed. In this social context, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) gradually becomes popular between the major companies, especially in the nonferrous metallurgical industries. In order to create a complete enterprise automation and information system, Orient Tantalum Industry Co.,Ltd develops an ERP system based on B/S network architecture.The development of Orient Tantalum Industry ERP system achieves financial management, purchasing management, warehouse management, sales management, manufacturing management, quality management, performance management, system management and other modules. The experiences gained in the development of this ERP system will promote a certain value in the informationization process of China's nonferrous metallurgy enterprises.First of all, this paper introduces the research background and significance, and discusses some ERP technologies and methods that correlate with the development of information system. Then, the paper takes the process of system development, the design of system function and the implement of system as masterstroke describe: the analysis of system requirement consists of the investigation of company organization and the main operation flows; the design of system function consists of programming of system function module, system development circumstance, database construction and so on; the implement of system consists of program flow, and system testing. Finally, this paper summarizes the design and development work, and brings forward some work needed to be consummated. |
