| China is a natural disaster prone country in which the major disasters include earthquake, drought, floods and mudslide occur every year. Especially this years, great disasters happened continuely. It was proved by some facts that the news on disaster are composite . The media not only reporting the current situation of the disaster area but also having connection with the Political, economic culture and Humane Concern.Although《YanZhao Metropolis Daily》is a local Social Life Newspaper, it pay more attention on the reports of the disasters. This article has studied the Newspaper's report on disasters which have meaning to the research of the local newspaper's disaster news.This article is divided into three parts: the features of《YanZhao Metropolis Daily》's disaster news, the problems in it and our countermeasures. The author analyse the features of the newspaper including attaching importance to agenda-setting and envaluable the news worthiness. Some defects are found as following; lacking in-depth report, attractive force and interaction; designing page layout unscientifically; confining communicating effect. The author also proposed some solutions: intense the in-depthe report; strengthen the interaction to reader by modern information technology and redesign the layout. |
