| Infrared temperature measurement technology is a modern detection means. Compared with the common temperature measurement technology, the infrared thermometer technology avoids destroying the temperature distribution of the object as the result of uncontacting with the object. Moreover, the operation is easy and reliable. Thus the infrared temperature measurement technology gets more and more attention in the national modernization industry, agriculture and military.Infrared temperature devices mainly include two categories: the infrared thermometer and the infrared thermal imaging, both of which can measure the temperature. Whereas they neither meet the needs to greatly partical measurement.The infrared thermometer has a higher precision,while unable to accurately reflect the overall temperature distribution of the objects due to the detect of the average temperature of the cellarea. The infrared thermal imaging can accurately describe the relative temperature distribution of the object, while unable to accurately detect the absolute temperature of object due to the ambient temperature. Furthermore, it is diffculty to popularize the infrared thermal imaging with more complex manufacturing technology . what's more, there exists bigger error when measure high temperature (> 200℃).In order to improve the measurement precision and reduce the cost, based on the infrared temperature measurement theory, this paper presents a new infrared thermometer array which can achieve the real-time monitoring of the object. The basic principle is as following: first, design the detector array according to the structure of the infrared thermal imaging detector; then converte infrared radiation signals which received from from the optical system by the detector array. Becasuse the analog signals obtained are very weak with acoustic noise, they should be first amplified and filted before transferred into the A / D converter. After that, the data, obtained through a simple processing of the digital signals transfered to the AVR microcontroller, is transmitted to the host computer due to the serial communication. The PC converts the voltage-form data into the display in temperature, using VC++ language to accept data, achieving communication module. The new infrared thermometer array has both much higher measurement precision and a lower cost than the thermal imaging.This paper designed the infrared thermometer array (8*8) in details including the details of designing the array detector and digital signal processing system. Furthermore, this paper proposed the methods to improve the performance after analyzing the reasons of the systematic error. |
