With the development of computer network technology, Internet has become the tools and information sources and indispensable to people's lives. Internet-based VOIP Technology for technical and cost advantages will surely be more widely applied. Voip technology in information security has gradually been emphasis on information technology as a new technology hidden in the field of information security is now gaining more and more attention. Information hiding technology and traditional encryption technologies, the secret information is not encrypted so that attackers can not break, but to hide the information so that the attacker could not find the information. This paper introduces information hiding technology, research trends and their direction of development, introduces the basics of information hiding system, analyzes the common hiding algorithm, the study of information hiding system, evaluation system. Then analyze two common coding ARMNB and PCM coding for VOIP. Use of simulation technology, to find the least important bit AMRNB coding is proposed for the AMRNB code information hiding algorithm, and finally realize the information hiding technology is applied the platform R&D by communication software and switch technology R&D center of electronic information engineering in huazhong university of science and technology, application and realization in improved LSB algorithm on the platform of audio carriy text messages. Information hiding technology application in will be based on the next generation communication network (NGN) platform to improve NGN platform. The technology of information hiding in VOIP not only increase a new way in hiding information in Internet, but also will improve the communication security VOIP play a new role.
