The war in modern times is full of complicated electromagnetism, and radar holds the balance.There are many kinds of radar while Pulse Radar is widely used in modern battlefield ,and it's very significative in studying the simulation platform of it. Receiver and signal processing is the hard core of radar, which are also the objects to simulate. This paper focuses on constructing a common simulation platform with blocking method, which can back up the simulation of pulse radar effectively.Signal processing of radar is mainly used in getting the range and velocity of moving targets.With the development of digital chips, digital processing part can be designed nearer to receiver, while digital processing takes a dominant position step by step. On studying the common technology of radar signal processing, we can provide a series of common simulation blocks embedded in simulation platform, which can insure the creditability of the simulation model and also cut down the complexity. This simulation platform can simulate different kinds of radar by changing the parameters and modules.This paper offers an integrated radar signal processing configuration based on the analysis of it, while emphasize particularly on the framework, main blocks, parameters and arithmetic. After that, it set up common simulation modules for all the signal processing blocks, and provides the common simulation paltform with MATLAB. Finally, two radars of different kind are tested on this platform as examples, while data flow and output is analysed.
