For a long time, In the military sphere, reliable, accurate target tracking is always the main purpose of intelligence and reconnaissance systems. Wireless sensor Network originated in the military field, its terminal with a miniaturized probe and characteristics of ad hoc networks, which in the target tracking applications, it's advantage more and more obvious. Target tracking based on wireless sensor networks gets target's mobile information, such as location, speed, trajectory and so on through the collaboration of the wireless sensor nodes in wireless sensor networks. It has a very high and wide value, In the military field. At present, most designs of target tracking based on wireless sensor networks are only in ideal, but not consider the ferocious environment and the special situation in battle. Consequently, although these tracking effect have good performance in tracking precise, but neglected Consider the whole system, and with the low effect in using energy, it can't continue using in nuclear radiation and other special environment, in the actual military applications and can's achieve the desired results. This paper improves the network architecture, time synchronization mechanism and tracking for the special environment of the South China Sea, it would be more suitable for us. So base on the classic architecture, meteor trace is used for remote communication, the system can still work in the environment of nuclear radiation, magnetic storms, flares, auroras; in time synchronization, using hierarchical structure created by routing initialization and the data transmission characteristics of target tracking, this paper simplified the existed TPSN time synchronization algorithm , the less energy consumption, can make the system live long; for the target-tracking algorithm in the precision positioning cluster-based sensor networks, distributed bayesian estimation is used to improve the forecasting mechanism on the cluster head node, and put forward the recovery mechanism when the target is out of the range. Finally with the analysis of the simulation, this paper simulate the improving algorithms and contrast the detailed result, and find out that they improve the track accuracy and reduce the power consumption.
