Research On IEC 61850 Based Real-time Information Exchange For Power Telcontrol Systems

With the rapid development of electronics technology, computer technology and communication technology, power telecontrol system will face the significant technical renovation. By analyzing the present power telecontrol system, a real-time information exchange scheme of power telecontrol based on IEC 61850 has been presented. The important technologies involved in IEC 61850, especially some problem that should be paid attention to in the specific realization of IEC 61850 have been researched further. On basis of the analysis and reduction of the modeling methods, information exchange methods, special communication service mapping, substation description language SCL of IEC 61850, the model of real-time information exchange in power telecontrol system has been established; the single-line of substation has been described by extending the SCL. The model has been simulated under the .net frame, and the results prove the validation and feasibility of the scheme.At last, some aspects such as the Embedded System, plug-and-play based on IEC 61850 have been discussed in the paper.
