The Research And Design Of A Personalizing Meta Search Engine Based On Server Side

The Internet has already become the main place to gain and exchange information at present and in the future. However, it is an extremely challenging work to find the satisfied information in a great deal of information on the Internet. The development of the existing traditional search engine, on one hand strengthened its practicability constantly and solved the information search issue partly; on the other hand, it restricted people to obtain the more effective resources, because of its own limitations. It is necessary to design a series of highly effective solutions for obtaining valuable information from the Internet. The arise of Meta Search engine technique has solved this problem in a sense. Personalizing search engine has become an important research subject because it can improve the search accuracy and satisfy users' personalizing search quests. Aiming at the actual flaw of search engine and users' personalizing quests, this paper does some research on the basic method and technology of the personalizing search engine. It focuses on the following aspects: The basic aspects of search engine, and the technology related to personalizing search engine(Web data collecting and data mining) are discussed. The article researches the meta Search engine technology and analyzes their main arithmetic. ? This paper proposes and designs a personalizing Meta Search engine system based on server side, aims at helping Internet user's to get Internet information according to their own demands fastly and accurately. ? A three-dimension interest model has been put forward. A creating and a modifying algorithm of user's interests based on this model and a method of using creating tree of user's interests to analyze user's search quests are presented subsequently. In conclusion, the paper gives a brief discussion and summary on the future research way of the personalizing search engine.
