With China's joining WTO and financial market open to foreign companies, Chinese securities companies must change their tradition way of doing business, to gain more strength, to enlarge their scales, and to improve their management and service. Therefore Chinese securities companies must throw away their old service mode depending on their sales department only to provide trading and consulting services to stockliolders. Instead, they should service and manage their customers with the company overall. By doing so,the companies will be able to set good examples in the industry. To achieve that, Chinese securities companies need to build a securities integrative exchange system based on a new architecture, making it the common knowledge in the securities industry to managing their business and fund by the integrative exchange system.The subject of the thesis comes from the development project of the securities exchange system of XINTAI Securities Limited Company. Now the distributed processing technique and Client/Server architecture have been matured. Therefore the distributed tier architecture is the better choice for creating a security integrative exchange system. The paper presents the use of Tuxedo middleware to realize the management of operation, the management of communication and the control of security in the system. Firstly the paper introduces the characteristics of On-line Transaction Processing system, concept and categories of middleware. The paper also introduces the architecture and the technical theory of Tuxedo middleware. The paper discusses the Server and Service of Tuxedo, system security strategy and the characteristics of the distributed tier architecture. Secondly, the whole architecture, structure of middleware, and tier structure of JSPS integrative exchange system are described. Thirdly, the system model based on system requirement is set up and the system module is divided. Fourthly, the configuration mode of Tuxedo middleware is discussed and the designs of configuration and arrangement of the middle application tier of the system are designed, as well as the operation middleware, communication middleware and security middleware of the system. Lastly, the paper describes the main operation flow of the JSPS integrative exchange system is described and presents the implementing details in the management of operation and system security.
