The Research And Implementation Of Tap Water Charge Management System

With the rapid development of city modernization and the broaden scale of water service in cities, higher requirement in water service management are raised. In the case, the traditional manual management can not suffice the requirement of modern water serveice. So a new charge management system is imperative to improve tap water management lever and running efficiency.According to the character and charge flow of water service, using advanced software technology, computer network and management method, a tap water charge management system is developed based on the C/S and B/S structure. Due to complicated charge courses and changeful customer's requirement, the paper adopts UML technology which is used to analyse system and make module for system.The system implement all functions of charge processing in tap water company: add new customers, inputting meter finger, calculating charge, taking out charge, calculating interest, creating charge requisition, printing invoice, processing abnormity, creating various reports and flexible searching function and so on. In order to complete the function of printing invoice and other bills,we adopt the Crystal Reports technology which can print a serial of bills consecutively and can stop when error occurs. Once the problem is solved, the system would print the remanent bills starting from the interruptive record. This method can avoid wasting invoice. And by the analysing of the history data , the system can forcast the trend of future's water using which provide necessary information for charge and leaders' decision-making. The system provides an information management platform for urban tap water charge and implements the systematism and standardization of the charge management.The system has been applied to lvshun tap water company, which performs well, conveniently, efficiently and bring remarkable benefit for company.
