| PON (Passive Optical Network) is being considered as the most promising solutionfor the next generation broadband access network. This thesis introduces GMPLS(General Multi-Protocol Label Switch) technology into access network andproposes the conception of GMPLS PON. Compared with the other PON systems, Somekey technologies and virtues are interpreted in the former part. Then, this thesisstandardizes the bottom network management mechanism and sets down the OAMsublayer criterion, including framing technology, working mode, basic function and thevalidity simulation. At last, according to the network structure of GMPLS PON, it alsoputs forward a scheme of policy-based network management which can manage thesingle flow or service. As a result, GMPLS PON can satisfy different users for differentquality of service and realize billing management. The management module design,working flow and some code about policy are presented. |
