Research On XML-based Data Exchange Platform In Decision Supporting System

Aiming at the requirements of development of Emergency Decision Supporting System, this paper suggest to establish data exchange platform by using XML(Extensive markup language) so that data in all systems of different structures and formats can be converted to each other in uniform way. Therefore it solves the problem of Information Isolated Point.XML provides an opening-standard to achieve security and efficiency in E-government. The XML-structured data can be separated from the business rule and the expression form, thus it can be exchanged and processed expediently. So XML is regarded as the new standard of data exchange when it appeared.Firstly, we deeply analyze XML and its key technology for data exchange usage. At the same time, we propose a XML-based data exchange model for different database system after focusing our research on applications using XML combined with the characteristic and requirements of Emergency Decision Supporting System. Secondly, we construct the model under J2EE platform according to programming rules. Furthermore, the model not only can be used and transplanted in multi-platforms but also can be used for data exchange. In addition, the model can be used to exchange data among different department's OA system in the area. It improves the efficiency of government as well as builds up an agreeable image of government.
