As human beings entering into the 21 century, environment and energy problems urge Electric Vehicle (EV) to welcome a development apex. Because battery and other energy device can not absolutely take place of internal-combustion engine, It is a good compromising solution to settle fuel economic problem and exhaustion of the vehicle by using Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). And HEV has become the important strategic point of auto industry. As the expanding of city bus's application scope and complexing of bus-route and condition, the application of hybrid electronic bus is also more and more prosperity. But the problem of how to acquire this electronic bus's on-board running data and analyse the data has not been well solved.In order to finish the research and evaluate the vehicles capability, the paper has synthesized standard and example research methods with the help of computer applied technology and automotive dynamic mechanism technology, developed a data acquisition and analysis management system based on further research of HEV especially of HEV from Wuhan Electric Paradigm Running Co.,Ltd's running features. It can analyse running condition of HEV and accurately evaluate its dynamic and economic capability, which not only provides some basic theory for control strategy of HEV's optimization, but also promotes industrialization process of HEV to some extend.In the system, SIEMENS S7-200 PLC is the core process hardware, aided with some outer interface circuit, signal convert circuit and sensors. Signal of the sensor and second- apparatus can read from variable V storage in PLC in real time. Then, the data which we have acquired just now is managed and supervised with Fame View, and at last stored to database.The data analysis management system is mainly used to take statistic analysis of the data acquired by this system. This system can realize many functions such as to take statistic analysis of bus running data according to deferent running situation and time, and to take statistics about the vehicle's running speed, distance, braking frequency, total running time, average speed, total oil consume and any other engine parameters. Furthermore, it can also analyse and compare the data as curve charts. The development of this system provided a standard platform for data acquisition and analysis management of HEV, it can analyse and manage the data which is acquired by different software and hardware data acqusition system when the data type is in line with system requirement.In the real application on hybrid electric bus, it's showed that the system owns the characters of stability, good anti-jamming, high precision and sampling frequency. It's also very convenient to operate and has a strong ability in statistics and analysis. So it will facilitate daily life according to research running conditions of HEV and evaluate&promote control strategy of HEV with all these merits.
