Recently, the common computer system represented by PC developed very fleetly both in the hardware and software. Meanwhile, the development of new IT industry requires more and more devices which are more miniaturization and intelligent. To adapt the development trend, people become to use embedded computer system namely embedded system in the application process of computer system.Embedded system is the technology base realizing the digital and network of electronic production. Embedded system has the characteristics such as: smaller bulk, lighter weight, better security and reliability, lower cost, lower power, adapt the bad environment and so on. So, embedded system will become more and more important in the future.Now, embedded systems have been applied in various control system, but they are been designed aiming at the separate system. So, the function of every system is very simplex. This article design a common control board which is easier in operate and amend.First, the author introduces the embedded system, including the characteristics, essential makeup and the development actuality and trend. And introduce the real-time operation system applied in the embedded system.Second, introduce the hardware design of the control board. First, introduce the core-ARM7, then introduce the every module of the board separately.Third, introduce how to transplant the μC/OS-Ⅱ . Separately introduce the kernel analysis of μC/OS-Ⅱ, including task state, interrupt management and so on, and task management and communication between tasks. Then introduce the condition and steps of transplanting the μC/OS-Ⅱ to the S3C44B0X.After transplant the μC/OS-Ⅱ successfully, introduce the software realization of every components, including serial communication, USB interface, LCD screen, keyboard and so on.At last, the author introduces the realization of the multi-function control module including PID/fuzzy/fuzzy-PID based on this operation system. The theories and detail realization methords of the three control mode are introduced.
