Design And Realization Of Traffic Flow Simulation Based On Driving Simulator

Driving simulator is used in the automobile product development, as an important tool used in the research of the "human-vehicle- environment" traffic characteristic and driving training. This simulator not only be used in the pointed training, but also by the machine we can get a real-time and vivid training processs and result.The virtual reality technology applied in the automatic driving simulator training system, which is truly applies computer technology in the scene changing and movement simulation during vehicles travel process, and so on. It make driver immerse to the simulated driving environment. Design Virtual reality, develop simulation scene is important, but more crucial is developing interactive environment. In real world, the vehicles travel receives the influence mainly comes from the path influence and the travel the vehicles mutual influencethe. the path affects to the operator which drives the simulator is produces through the three-dimensional model visual feeling view in the travel the vehicles mutual influence, mainly includes in the hypothesized environment between the vehicles influence, between hypothesized vehicles and simulator influence two aspects. In order to the real world in the movement vehicles mutual influence in the ground view the simulation realization, enhances drives the simulator simulation, this article developed based on has driven the simulation design and the realization which the simulator the traffic flow.The research of traffic flow in traffic file is mainly devotes in the research of the moving disciplinarian of vehicles in realistic transportation environment, the main research results have the vehicles following driving, change way moving, and exceed driving and so on. This article studied the theory and the achievement of the research on traffic flow, apply them in the realization simulation environment, the simulator operator change his action according to the changing scene, thisprocess unceasing circulated, constituted interaction between the operator— environment. This enormously enhanced the driving simulator system initiative, the interaction and immerses and so on, give operator more lifelike driving environment, improvement driving training teaching effect.The traffic flow in transportation file mainly devotes in the research of vehicles law of motion, research traffic flow based on driving simulator let human factor in whole system, overcomes the insufficiency in traditional research.This paper has developed a soft environment to study the traffic flow simulation and realized some simple traffic models on Wuhan University of Technology ITSC driving simulation. The work of this dissertation is as follow mainly:1) According to the working principle of driving simulator and the characteristic of the software being takan in this dissertation, studies the traffic simulation method of exploitation and the performance procedure of the system being developed in this dissertation.2) According to tradition traffic simulation theory and the cellular automata method, perform the system analysis and the module analysis.3) Establishment the road information syestem, design the road system detailedly and make it being carried out, design the test method.4) Design and realization the control and moving modes of the multi- vehicles, manage the vehicles in the virtual transportation environment.5) Realization the communication between multi-vehicles, judgement the safe distance between vehicles, and simulation the vehicles' behavior under the mutual influence, design the vehicles behavior test method.
