| As the weather radar developing rapidly and being used widely, the normal weather radar usually can not satisfy the requirement of some specific researches. The pulse Doppler radar has many advantages such as advanced technology, completed function, excellent performance and so on. It can be used to measure the location and intensity of precipitation, and also can be used to measure the speed and direction of airflow inside of the precipitation. One Doppler radar can only measure speed of rain and cloud, but we need three-dimensional wind-vector fields from the echo of wind in application.Bistatic/multistatic Doppler weather radar system consists of a traditional weather radar and one or more receivers with low gain antenna, deployed at remote sites. The most important function of the Doppler weather radar system is that it may measure in real time three-dimensional field of vector wind. Bistatic/multistatic Doppler weather radar system is one of the most important part of our weather radar net constructing, and has potential foreground and important practicality value.This article introduce the theory of bistatic Doppler weather radar system,such as coordinate, geometry relation, radar equation and availability irradiation volume. And use GPS to solve the synchronization problem of space, phase and time. The system has some charactetristics such as simple structure, chearness, reliability, high sensitively and so on. And also analyize the algorithm of computing the system perform and suggest engineering realization scheme based on GPS.In radar signal processing part, I use MATLAB to simulate some kinds of technic, including digital perpendicular demodulation, pulse accumulate, Fast Fourier Transform. MATLAB has program compile, simulation design and it can creat .exe file, so wu can use it directly. At last, I use wavelet transform to assistant the signal processing for it has advantage in signal partially process both in time and frequencyfield. It can reduce noise, improve SNR. |
