| In the modern industrial production, it comes down to various inspecting frequently, measurements and applications of the identification of work pieces. In order to save the cost and improve the productivity, the modern industrial systems require not only the automation of the production, but also the automation the measuring systems matched with them. Adapt of it, machine vision system is a new field which develops very rapidly in recent years. The approach in this paper comes from the Laboratory of measuring and control technology, built jointly by the Dalian University of Technology and Omron. The basic principle, current development and application of machine vision are described. The structure, principle and application of the vision system of the Laboratory of measuring and control technology which is built jointly by the Dalian University of Technology and Omron are discussed. The equipment of taking picture (F150-S1A), new type NS-series color programming terminal, and the performance and principle of the vision sensor (F150-C10E-3-DRT) are introduced in detail. And this paper explains the process of image processing by operate the programming terminal at length. This paper shows the application of the vision sensor system on the identification of image in-depth. The idiographic project and process of realization of measurement of the work pieces by the Omron's vision sensor system are particularly studied. And finally, the applications performance of this vision system by on the measurement of work pieces is analyzed in detail, and then the conclusions are imparted. The purpose of the research is to realize a fast, automatic and non-contact measurement of machine vision. This is significant to deepen the theory of vision technique in inspecting objects with measurement, to expand the research field of vision technique. After exploring the research subject, the thesis finally comes to guidance solution on machine vision system design, it summing-up the finished work and points out the technology orientation and future research. |
