Edge Detection And Curvefitting Of Textile Structural Composites

The project is one of projects that computerized 3D reconstruction is applied to 3D Textile Structural Composites.The purpose is to analyze and test the mechanical Properties.The edge detection is the first step of image analysis.Edge is one of the important steps of computerized 3D reconstruction. The edge of image is often considered as its fundamental feature in image processing.It has been used in image processing and analyzing technologies such as feature description,image recognition,image segmentation,image enhancement and image data compression on a high level.Then we can comprehend and analyze the edge image later on.The thesis has discussed the technologies of the clearing image and enhancing the contrast before the edge detection,and study the problem of the curvefitting for gained the better edge image.The paper compares several classic edge detection operators,and then choose Mathematic Morphologyto do the edge detection.
