Quality monitoring on construction projects is one important component in the engineering quality control. It's also the technological basis for administrative departments in charge of construction to conduct effective supervision over the engineering quality. Therefore, it's particularly important to strengthen the monitoring and management over the testing activities and make the testing results true, reliable, accurate, effective and comprehensive. Currently, it's an inevitable development trend to employ computer technology to realize the real-time supervision on the testing work in the real sense. If the traditional technologies are used in constructing the system, it's very difficult to meet the requirements for real-time testing, monitoring and controlling as well as highly reliable communications. We should realistically consider how to utilize the up-to-date computer technology in developing an easily extended system.This thesis aims at establishing a complete information system between testing agencies and superintendent departments on the quality of construction projects. The system should be able to assist administrative departments in charge of construction in conveniently and effectively monitoring and controlling the information on engineering quality as well as testing organizations, through providing services to the construction projects at in-depth levels. Concerning wide distribution of construction projects, dynamic developments of engineering quality, complexity in types of testing objects and changeability of testing conditions, this thesis applies Agent technology and introduces an Agent platform to develop Agent technology-based system of project quality monitoring.After a comprehensive research on Agent technology-based system and based on the system analysis, this thesis specifically designs types of Agents inside the system, as well as conducts detailed discussion one by one. The system integrates quality testing and quality monitoring on construction projects, and builds flexible and open applied integration framework to contain various unit testing technologies, which are currently relatively mature, so as to effectively control the accuracy and trueness of testing data. They can really realize the real-time supervision on the testing work. The Agent technology-based system of project quality monitoring, which have never been made public, possesses a certain commonality and expansibility.
