The design of radar signal acquisition and display control is the important parts of the radar system. It can not only control radar accurately, but also process the radar data effectively and the targets of the display to a radar manipulator with visual, effective and accurate mode.With the rapid development of computer technology, image processing technology and software technology, it has become a new trend to take general purpose computers as radar raster scanning display and control terminals. Computers can process flexibly high frequency data, and image processing technology and computer software with strong function can make the design of Radar display and control terminal more expediently. Meanwhile, the designing the display and control terminal of radar with software strengthen radar system's compatibility and extensible which provide a new way for radar terminal's development.This project is based on the design of signal processing platform of a Air Force radar. This paper begins with a analysis of the PCI and CPCI bus specification. Subsequently, the author not only introduced the hardware design scheme of radar data acquisition based on CPCI bus, but also finished the synoptic design and detailed design of radar raster scanning software. The device driver design of radar signal processing and display terminal was completed in this project, which is to program a WDM driver for a CPCI communication card based on Windows 2000 system. Its display and control terminal application are programmed by DirectDraw components and Visual C++6.0. Meanwhile, the set of some pasrameters was simulated for radar controller. One key technology of the digital of radar video image has been solved by raster scanning system that was optimized performance. 1600*1200 higher resolution can achieve and software processing speed has been improved through the operation of modifying display store's RGB value.At last, experimental results show that the project of radar signals acquisition and terminal deplay control is viable. The raster scanning desplaysystem based on Windows platform design has important meaning. At the same time, this paper has been achieved radar scanning realizable image and solved the speed bottle problem of desplay rate. A final conclusion is given that the method has higher practical value.
