Especially the application of industry gas chromatography has got very important action for the control results of multivariable predictive control.The applications in the petroleum chemical plants of the industry gas chromatography and distributed control system were introduced in this thesis. The communication problem between industry gas chromatography and distributed control system were discussed in detail. The local area network of industry gas chromatography was set up firstly, The communication between industry gas chromatography and distributed control system has been realized based on the MODBUS communicate protocol. The analysis results of industry gas chromatography can be transmited to the distributed control system. The requests of concentrate control were satisfied。 At the same time, it also economizes the large quantity electric cable and input cards of distributed control system.Because there are always errors between the real-time calculations of the multivariable predictive control's process calculating softwares and analyse results of labouratory. The analysis period of industry gas chromatography can't satisfy the request of the real-time,, Therefore, the process calculating results are proofread by the analysis data of industry gas chromatography. This is a basis of the analysis data of industry gas chromatography. The fluctuate were allowed within the scope of the process calculating results, if the process calculating results overstep the scope. There is a limited value for the component input value of the multivariable predictive control system. The automatically emendation of industry gas chromatography combined with analysis, which is an assurance the dependability of the industry gas chromatography.
