Image compression coding is a very important part of digital image processing. In this paper, we describe several compression coding systems, and we put emphasis on motion estimation compression coding that used on dynamic image compression. In the end, we suggest a new compression coding.In chapter 2, we introduce some image compression coding methods. We describe the definition of compression coding and the kinds of the image compression codings. Some compression coding theory is introduced, and we analyse some compression coding advantage and disadvantage.In chapter 3, we introduce how we realize the H.263 encoder and decoder. At first, we describe the H.263 image compression standard, and do research on H.263 suggestion technology. Then we make a H.263 encoder and decoder by software based on the some other research results.In chapter 4, we introduce the motion estimation algorithm. We emphasis on the block matching motion estimation that is used very much in dynamic digital image. We discuss some block matching motion estimation compression system, and we analyse these algorithms advantage and disadvantage. At last we suppose a new block matching motion estimation algorithm that is used on aero image specially. By a lot of experiments, this algorithm is testified usefully.In chapter 5, we summarize this paper, and do some prediction of the motion estimation algorithm developments.
