With the rapid progress of telecommunication technology and the emergence of NGN frame, the method of providing telegraphic services is going through a revolution. As the core of NGN, Softswitch, which plays a role of an open platform for service provisioning, is able to support various value-added services in many ways in order to satisfy the booming request of new services. IP Centrex is among those services, which can provide innumerous packet based exchange and service. IP Centrex can also reduce management load and application cost. This thesis focuses on research and implementation of IP Centrex service logic. It starts with actuality of research and application on telecommunication service provisioning, then turns into analysis of service provisioning in NGN frame. After analyzing structure of Softswitch and IN, the two technologies are combined together in design of Softswitch and service logic in Application Server. And the interconnection mechanism between them is used for reference. Analysis of Centrex requirement is described in succession. Integrated with SSF/CCF model in IN, solution to some basic and mutual problems in Centrex services is raised, including service trigger, number analysis, authentication of a call and service nesting, etc. As a further explanation, the author submits design of Operator and GTN service in the end. The emphasis of Operator is management of operator resource, while that of GTN service is the cooperation with the Operator and Centrex basic call service. There is close relationship among those function/services, and it has been considered during service design.
