China has been the center of world manufacturing. The rapid development of information technology brings an enormous impact on the management modes of enterprises, The strong competitive situation of the manufacturing enterprise makes enterprise face more complicated living environment than before. Enterprises need more accurate understanding of market demand and the competitor's developing state as soon as possible, forcing enterprises to change their own business procedure, then offer scientific support for managers. With the improvement of the social environment, the government's energetically supporting, the information network of the computer ,etc, the soft and hardware environment that enterprises launched ERP based on internet has been already ripe basically, ERP based on B/S mode is a developing direction and trend .Now mostly enterprises' ERP systems are based on C/S mode, as the appearance of e-commerce based on internet and ERP of new generation, forcing the mode of enterprise implementing ERP must be changed. The traditional ERP systems based on C/S bring enterprise information system's upgrade a world of difficulty, ERP system based on B/S can reduce the difficulty.This paper puts Shanghai ZEL electric mechanical manufacturing company as the background, this paper combine enterprise informationalized research project (one of " Pudong informationization advanced fund projects" ) in this company, puts forward research and implementation of material requirement planning(MRP) algorithm based on multi-table layered decomposing based on B/S mode. Firstly this paper analyses the design of traditional BOM structure, and combined with practice in the company, puts forward the BOM structure - integrating monolayer BOM and reticulation BOM which suits ZEL company;secondly considering the expansibility of the system, viz. tends toward integration of SCM and CRM, according as the characteristic of traditional MRP algorithm, puts forward the MRP algorithm based on multi-table layered decomposing of a B/S environment in accordance with this problem which suits the company, compared the MRP algorithm with the MRPalgorithm of the company and currently applied algorithm, and analyses the high efficiency and gives the codes of the algorithm in the end. The paper gives the flow design and reengineering of the warehouse and stock department of the system in the first phase, and gives the relevant flow cart etc.Finally, combined with the application of MRP algorithm in manufacturing enterprise, and through the study and research of the theory and practice, this paper comes up with conclusions and expectation.
