The Study And Realization Of MPEG-2 TS Receiving And Playing System Under Windows CE

This paper is based on the author's research on the MPEG2 TS Receiving andPlaying System based on Windows CE for UTI card. It is described according to theproject's research and development process, including developing the Windows CESystem, developing the driver for the USB equipment, system design andimplementation of the MPEG TS playing system.In the part of developing the Windows CE System, it introduces the wholeprocess about using Platform Builder 5.0 to developing the Windows CE Systembased on AMD AlchemyTM DBAu1200TM in detail, and gives some simpleintroduction about the concepts involved in this process.In the part of developing the driver for the USB equipment, it firstly analyzes thesystem requirement and gives a detailed solution. Secondly it makes a briefintroduction about the concepts of USB topology, USB sytem software and WindowsCE USB driver development, and makes a comparison with the USB WDM driverdevelopment model on Windows desktop systems. After that, it makes great emphasison the realization of the USB driver, including the usage of Ring Buffer data structureand share memory mechanism. Lastly, it analyzes performance of this driver.In the part of system design and implementation of the MPEG TS playing system,it proposes a design scheme of developing the system based on the pull pattern sourcefilter after studying the system requirement and existing decoders provided by AMD.And then, it analyzes the Windows DirectX 9.0 memfile source filter example, andintroduces the porting step for Windows CE system. Finally, it introduces therealization of the playing software in detail, including the main function implemented,the performance and the compatible aspect concerned.Based on intensive test, the USB driver basically can be put into the market, andthe playing system has the ability to play the digital TV program. It must make apositive influence to the promotion of the UTI standard.
