The Research On The Management Information System Of The Highway Based On WEB

In recent years, with the fast development of computer and communication technology, the information technology has been widely applied in each aspect of society. And with the national economy growth, industry of transportation in China has made rapid development. Mature computer management information technology has gradually been applied in every branch of transportation industry, which plays a very important role in the daily work. In our country, the prospect for informationization of highway management department is very optimistic. Meanwhile, in highway management department is in great need of information system. But, many problems have been arising when we build the management information system of highway. Such as, system functions can't need of users' requirements, problem of system integration, and so on. So, it is very realistic if we can research and exploit a suitable management information system for our highway management department.This paper provides a design of management information system for highway based on WEB Service by employing the technique of J2EE. Aiming to solve the problems that arise in building the management information system of highway, the author finds a best joint between WEB technique and management information system of highway in China. The scheme provided includes the detail design of various sub-modules in management information system of highway, the discussing of WEB technique using the framework for J2EE, and the research of main problems in the system.Firstly, the paper proposed that we should adopt the concept of "mature technology + advance management philosophy" in the development of management information systems. Management information systems should shoulder the responsibility of guiding the future direction of the organization both solving the management problems of the organization and helping managers by decision support.Secondly, the paper analyzes the features of highway management department and proposes that the main task of Chinese highway management information system is integration and optimization of internal management at present.Thirdly, the paper introduces the J2EE framework and related WEB technique. Combining a specific system development case, this paper proposes a management information system design of highway, including needing analysis, supporting system technology, the modular system design and the modular system detail design.Finally, the paper explores the main problems of the system and suggests. Somereasonable solution including ,the technique of statements, the method to realize authority management, and the method to realize transmission of data between business processing systems and OA system.
