Research And Implementation Of Production Planning System In Small And Medium-Sized Enterprise In ERP Model

In this paper,we elaborate the history , concept and basic principle of ERP. By means of analyzing the distinction between traditional MIS and ERP the connotation of enterprise informationization and the necessity of implementation of ERP is explained.The feature of it distinguished from traditional MIS lies in the ideas of the globality and procedure. So we must reconstruct the organization in the process of informationalization by utilizing the principle and method of BPR. The basic managing thought of ERP is to make whole produce of enterprise management and operation launch around customer and his product of demand. The information , computer and network technology is utilized to control the complicated every aspect of operation of enterprise in the concrete system , namely in technology, the information integration is a marrow of ERP.The thesis introduces current situation of ERP application in Chinese enterprises further. The problem and reason of failure is analysed that domestic enterprises especially small and medium-sized enterprises implement MRP II / ERP. Small and medium-sized enterprises are far different from large-scale enterprises in their characteristics. To these characteristics and the request of ERP systems, the solution of the informationization of small and medium-sized enterprises is proposed. Namely reconstruct and optimizes the main procedure at first, and then combine the other procedure;Managing material flow inside enterprises and some information flow well first, and then whole joint-venture's financial flows and supply chain.Primary strategic objectives of informationization in small and medium-sized enterprises are their key procedures ,namely the production schedules. In ERP, a corresponding one of procedure is basic closing MRP logic and MRP is the core of ERP. So production planning system is the implementing focal point and difficult point all the time. Main implementation and application of ERP is in manufacturing industry. The different information-based demand is briefly illustrated because of the different enterprise types.In this thesis, the emphsis is put on the composition structure of the production planning system, especially on the main module: MPS, MRP, BOM, etc. The thesis illustrates explicitly each module's function, algorithm and the form of input and output, driving mechanism of each module, and the relation of them. It set up comparatively exhaustive argumentation in theoretical foundation and parameter in the systematic operation course that the plans at all levels are made. On the basis of relevant research and the knowledge of the database, software development and computer network, we takes an office equipment manufacturing company as the background to carry on the demand analysis. Directed by the concrete function goal of system every module, we provide the systematic network structure model , application program and database realization. Then we compose each module in function.Finally, the work auther have done and existing problems are summarized and the direction of further study and development is stated.
