With the development of the Computer Science and the Information Technology, the real-time simulation as the branch of the simulation technology has developed rapidly in recent years. Especially for the industrialization, production, internationalization of simulation supporting platform, the computer simulation has become an important technology during design and testing.Integrated simulation supporting platform is an important application of the real-time simulation technology. According to the characteristic of the simulation supporting platform, the author has developed a simulation supporting platform which is based on Windows operation system. The platform has multiple uses and supports the distributed applications.Besides the basic functions of developing and compiling simulation programs, operating tasks and managing data, this simulation supporting platform should also provide the functions of real-time control, real-time database management and data communications. The main work the author done is showing as following:(1) By using the methods of the object oriented programming and the thoughts of module modeling, the author fulfilled the platform's functional analysis and module design of the database and the network communication. Then the author provided a design method based on the conceptual model which is used on the large-scale simulation supporting platform on Windows.(2) The author designed and implemented the real-time simulation database, described the data structure, defined and created a share memory for variables, and provided a method of data management and maintenance, which makes the data of simulation program controllable, observable and modifiable.(3) The author realized the real-time communications, online compiling and debugging when there are multi-users, and solved the problems of the data synchronization and share between the clients and the server.(4) According to the process of the software engineering, the author adoptedthe object oriented testing method and the H model to test the platform's functions, and verified some modules which have great effect on the system's capabilities.This testing shows that the platform is convenient, complete and steady. It can be used to monitor the data and debug the programs of the general simulation system and the scientific programs.
