To some extent it has already become a big obstacle to block the development of enterprise, so the concept and technology of distributed workflow has brought forward to resolve the obstacle. constructing more performance, more extensibility and more dependability to satisfy large-scale distributed isomerous workflow application system has become the enterprise's stringent demand nowadays. Furthermore by acquaint with the development trends of national and international workflow technology, the research on distributed workflow technology has become a hotspot of current workflow reserach aspect. this paper attempt to construct a distributed workflow system by using J2EE(JAVA2 Platform Enterprise Edition) distributed technology and Jboss Jbpm workflow technology, and put it into a OA system to make the research "origin in project and service to project ".Firstly, This paper introduces the birth background, development phase and characteristic of distributed object technology , enumerates the popular three distributed object technology(CORBA, .Net, J2EE).
