Practical writing is one of the most popular writing styles in study and daily life. Teachers and students in university should specially pay importance to practical writing training. It's quite necessary and important to study computer-aided practical writing for teachers and students in university.This work studies some key technologies in computer-aided practical writing for teachers and students in university (CABW for short), such as specimen library establishment, information retrieval, and template technology. The main contributions are as follows:A practical writing specimen library is built: Note that quality of specimen library can directly influence the success rate of information retrieval. This thesis studies four classifications of the practical writing specimen, i.e., name, user, area, and type. And the relativities among the four classifications are also addressed. Based on the prophasic work, our project group gathered related datum, this thesis collects 16,376 specimens, and stores about 3.1G data.Practical specimen retrieval is studied: Specimen information retrieval method with document similarity degree computation is studied. There are two methods in document similarity degree measure, i.e., semantic-based and statistic-based. The work studies document similarity degree measure on the basis of both semantic and statistic method, considering their pros and cons. By using improved Dong Zhendong Hownet structure, comparing with original Hownet, the semantic-based method is verified. Finally, the proposed method is illuminated better than semantic-based and statistic-based method by abstract writing experiment.Template technology is studied: This thesis studies template technology and design procedure. The writing method is illustrated by appreciation template writing experiment. Compared with not using template, availability of the system is proved. Applicable coverage of the template is also discussed.A system prototype is realized: For frequently used practical writing styles in university, computer-aided practical writing system prototype for teachers and students in university is presented.The motivation of the thesis is to carry out computer-aided practical writing for teachers and students in university, to help teachers and students increase writing quality, efficiency and standardization, and to improve practical writing level.
