We mainly research on fault detection of closed-loop control systems and adaptive reconfiguration control based on fault detection and its application on flight control systems.(1) Briefly introduced the research foundations (fault diagnosis technology of control systems), including the basic concept, the main content and the essential methods of fault diagnosis as well as its development, present situation and prospect.(2) Based on the research of predecessors, simulation research on fault detection methods of closed-loop control systems has been done. And what's more, a novel method for fault detection of closed-loop control systems is presented, which combines the controller output error and the system output error. The simulation confirmation has been carried on.(3) Considering that lots of fault detection methods are based on observers, we combine the new methods with the observer-based fault detection of closed-loop control systems. And its simulation confirmation is done on a simplified flight control model.(4) The adaptive reconfiguration control with its application in the fault detection of flight control systems is researched by simulation. We design a automatic switch in the system, which make the system switch to the adaptive reconfiguration control automatically when faults occur. And when the system is without faults, the adaptive reconfiguration control is not added, which simplifies the system in very great degree.Finally, the conclusion for this thesis and the prospect for further research are put forward.
