The Research And Application Of J2EE Based On MVC

With the development of E-Government, the community which connects the government and the people has become an important part of the society. The extension of E-Community affects the level of community management and the life of residents. And now most community still use former systems worked on Windows which lack of transplantability, expansibility, maintainability and so on. Consequently, we need to build a new management system of community based on the former systems.In recent years, with the rapid development of network and extensive adoption of J2EE platform, multi-layer Web structure based on B/S grows up gradually. MVC design pattern separates control of data from representation of data, and therefore has the advantage of implementation of multi-layer Web applications. Struts is the application framework which implements MVC based on J2EE platform and Hibernate is one of the most popular O/R (Object/Relation) Mapping tool.This paper firstly presented and discussed some technology and concepts related to our subject, then put forward a solution of the management system on community information used Struts an Hibernate, a B/S multi-tiered J2EE Web Application based on MVC, finally gives a solution of integration of heterogeneous databases in the Management System of Community based on Hibernate.
