With the development and popularization of the information technology, especially the network technology's development, the information transmission, storage and distribution are confronted with the security problems. The digital watermarking technique is just one of effective ways to solve these problems. In this paper, an algorithm based on chaotic scrambled watermarking of digital watermarking was researched in depth.Chaotic sequences have good features such as pseudo random property, unpredictable orbits and sensitivity to initial conditions and parameters. For these reasons, chaotic signal is suitable for digital watermarking application in information scrambling field. In this paper, the digital image as watermarking objects was selected. The watermarking signal was generated by the image which was scrambled with Logistic chaotic system. Also, chaotic image scrambling algorithm and chaotic scrambled digital image watermarking were deeply studied. In this dissertation, the main work was focused on three parts as follows:(1)The digital watermarking fundamental theory was researched, and the digital image scrambling algorithm was discussed too. Then a Hilbert curve scanning algorithm based on matrix was lucubrated, and an improved and effective algorithm was put forward.(2) The concept of basic chaotic kinetic was introduced, and the Logistic chaotic system of its dynamics property has researched highlight. Based on these work, a digital image scrambling algorithm was proposed. Lastly, experiment results for this algorithm were shown.(3)Based on the chaotic scrambling of digital image algorithm just presented above, a security digital watermarking algorithm was proposed. The digital image scrambled by chaotic sequence has been used as watermarking signal. Lastly, experiment results for this watermarking algorithm were given. The experiments results indicated that this algorithm can resist some common image processing, and has better robustness. As the watermarking is of chaotic characteristic, it has high security.
