Directed against the status of the backward means of measurement administration of natural gas in the oilfields and the necessity of altering traditional measurement ways, the thesis, according to the reality of station yards in the oilfields and connecting with the scientific and technological project of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, develops the research and its application on the automatic system of measurement administration of natural gas, and puts forward various gathering ways of measurement information in the digital station yards, to fulfill the automation of gathering and transmission of measurement data of natural gas by way of wireless transmission and, in the meanwhile, realize the measurement administration and strategy in connection with station-yard monitoring and center-distance monitoring. The research findings have already been applied in the production and administration of the oilfields in the Western Sichuan to supply a new scheme for measurement administration of the oilfields and greatly improve the efficacy of gathering and transmission in the oilfields, thus achieving good economic benefits and social benefits.
