Blade is an important part of steam turbines. Blade measurement technology is attached more importance to these days. Several methods are used to measure blades these days, considering the efficiency, precision and costs, there are also lots of disadvantages, however. The YP02-Style blade measuring machine is a customized machine that can compensate the shortcomings in a way. The machine gets a higher efficiency, costs less and is used more expediently. This dissertation is about the research on controlling software of the machine.Based on Windows operating system, the controlling software is developed by Visual C++6.0 and OpenGL technology. Firstly the software reads theory data of blades in the initial step. Real blade data is measured via PCI8164 motion card and PCI9111 I/O card. Then processing theory data and real data, each error items is gained after analysis. The data measurement and data process modules are pivotal in the software development.Precision checking is the precondition of the machine precision. It includes probe checking and rotor checking. Probe and reposition data can be modified through checking. Building coordinate system must be implemented before blade measurement. The work piece coordinate system is built by measuring root and top fitting benchmark. The software provides two measuring modes: manual mode and auto mode. The auto mode is implemented by reading numerical control codes that is defined in the software.Data processing is an important part of the system. It includes two steps: data preprocessing and error analysis. In the data preprocessing step, By removing redundant data, Dispersing inlet and outlet circle, offsetting the blade profile, data format is unified. In the case that measured profiles match theory profiles, each error item is attained by using appropriate arithmetic.By a typical example of blade measurement, the software gets a higher efficiency, the measurement of each blade section costs 1 minute in average.
