With the prospering of Personal Handy-phone System (PHS) in national telecommunication markets, the coverage of Cell Station becomes wider and wider. However, unreliability problems of power supply to PHS Cell Station holds back the further development of PHS, it makes the quantities of PHS service reduced, and then service level and qualities of the telecommunication company become lower. Therefore, it is an important factor to resolve unreliability problems of power supply to PHS Cell Station for the maintenance of the PHS network and further construction.This text develop a new small basic station of DC remote power supply source supervision, the aim at the development trend of power supply supervision and the actual and applied need of the customer, according to Technical Specifications of DC Remote Supply Systems for Cell Station of Personal Handy-phone System from China Telecom (Provisional) (as pecifications in later references). It's foundation is supervises and control the system in the original Cell Station far power supply source (HVDC-180E) . Its purpose is to resolve the unreliability problems of power supply to PHS Cell Station, insure the correspondence not be broken off, make the functions and capabilities of the system perfect, make it match to the development trend of the power supply source supervision system and satisfy the customer need.The microcontroller of AT89C55WD is the center of system. The paper adopts multiplexing technique and the commercial power plays the role of major supply, with the standby power only as a assistant. When the reserve power supply is working, it can use the panel to monitor the working condition of the system, check voltage and current parameters and set the important parameters of the system. When over voltage, over current and idling break up, the system can immediately warning and cutting off the exportation, then recover after the breakdown is resolved. At the same time, transmit the collected operational messages to monitoring center through RS-485 communication module for centralized monitoring.
