The Research Of MES In The Meduim Section Production Line Of Laiwu Iron & Steel Stock Company

Manufacturing Execution System(MES) is the management information system located the workshop tier between the top plan management system and the bottom industry control, which provides the current station of the execution of plans, tracking and resource (i.e. people, equipment material, customers'needing) for the handlers and managers. Also it is information system facing the product and the execution, offering the key coupling for ERP and controlling system. It can execute the product plan ordered by planning tier automatically, extract the accurate information from the real-time database collected for ERP, and let all information system and departments taking product for ligament touch tightly and operate in harmony in order to make the largest profits. In consequence for a enterprise, information system should be the combination of process control system(PCS), manufacture execution system (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP).This paper which aims at the designing and the execution of the first project of the MES combines the construction of the information in the Lai Wu steel group corporation (LG for short) and researches in depth the system characteristic, function, key technology and the conditions of successful execution. Based on this situation, it proposes the execution strategy, system plan and frame of MES according to real status of the product line for H-type steel. Meanwhile it proposes system integration plan of the product line of H-type steel, defines function modules of system management software adopting the design idea from top to bottom, with technology facing the object, it builds object-type database management system, analyses and extracts dynamic attempter and task management strategy for product line and realizes system effectively. The execution of MES of LG offers inspires in the theory and tecihinology for realization of advanced MES management technique in the steel enterprises.MES for H-type steel in LG takes maximum product ability and minimum cost as the pursuing goal, achieves need of producing with the order, satisfying customers and facing the market. It establishes good foundation for all-around execution of MES in LG.
