Study Of Resource Management Technology On Heterogeneous Cluster System Based On Agent Technology-Heterogeneous Cluster Resource Management System Based On Campus Network

Being the mainstream, cluster systems are widely used in many high performance computing applications. Furthermore, with the appearance of Grid concept, the heterogeneous cluster system has already become the main testbed in the research of Grid technology.Firstly, this paper presents the related knowledge such as Web Services' architecture, protocol, calling procedure and XML technology. based on analyzing of existing heterogeneous resource shield mechanism, this thesis applys Web Services technology to the cluster system to design a basic frame and a modified heterogeneous resource shield scheme based on Web Services.Secondly, this thesis modifies a commonly used resource distributed hierarchical resource management model. it designs a multiple-layer Agent structure model for heterogeneous cluster resource management systemt. By using technology of Agent in cluster resource management hierarchical system, designs a multiple-layer Agent resource management scheme.Thirdly, by introducing Agent technology into the resource management, a hierarchical system resource management model of heterogeneous cluster based on Agent Technology is provided. According to the characteristics of this model, the corresponding resource information tree is constructed. Moreover, a global resource scheduling algorithm based on the pre-order traversing is brought forward.Finally, considering the actual circumstance of the network resource in Tai-an campus of SDUST, this thesis designs the framework of resource management system in the heterogeneous campus cluster based on all the research mentioned above. Reification of the studies and preliminary design about key problems in the compus cluster is implemented.
